We’re delighted to announce that planning approval has been granted for a large two-storey side extension and contemporary single and part two-storey rear extension.
We worked closely with Reigate and Banstead Council throughout the process, agreeing on a number of revisions to reduce the size of the rear extension a little without adversely effecting either the design or internal space.
The rear extension is unique in its appearance with the angled walls and roof line designed to define the internal spaces. The small first floor extension creates a sun trap and reading space. Positioned on the half-landing of the existing stair, it will allow natural light to flood into the hallway and circulation space.
The rear extension will be constructed from SIP panels allowing the roofline to be self-supporting and creating a vaulted ceiling.
Roll on early 2017 when the project is due to start!
